How can I, a care worker, make a difference?

• Respect the rights, dignity and confidentiality of all service users

• Treat each service user as I would want myself personally to be

treated.

• Make every service user feel special.

• Arrive on time and spend the allocated time with each service user

• Follow the care plan.

• Record the events on the care log and inform the co-ordinator of

         any unusual happenings.

• Keep myself trained by participating in the training programmes.

• Practice the health & safety guidelines as advised and given to me.

• Keep my office fully informed of changes in personal circumstance.

• Feel proud to be a home care worker – go the extra mile whenever

 possible.
