How can we help you?

• You will have an initial assessment by our Assessment Officer.
• With your involvement, a plan of care will be agreed.
• Our Branch Manager and coordinator will monitor the progress of your care on a regular basis and agree with you any changes, which may be necessary.
• Staff are supplied for as little as one hour a week to 24 hours a day.
• People decide for themselves what help and support they need. Some have regular help, others choose to use the service occasionally.

Home Care Guarantee

Before we send any Carer to you we guarantee the following steps will have been taken;

• An in-depth , face to face interview with a qualified nurse
• Identity verified
• Any claimed qualifications verified
• At least two written references will have been obtained
• Work status checked
• Health questionnaire completed
• Any necessary police check will have been carried out or proof  of overseas police clearence requested
• A Westminster Homecare induction course will have been attended and completed satisfactorily.

If you have a Complaint

All our service users have a working folder (Red or Blue in colour) which is kept in the service users premises.  In this file you can find our complaint procedure (Finchley, Harrow, Potters Bar, Grantham, Bourne, Peterborough, Watford) along with a Client Complaint Form which must be completed and sent to the relevant Westminster Homecare branch.
